FAMILYSEARCH.ORG
The Evans Georgia Family History Center is an official FamilySearch.org library. What does that mean? That means that we are able to access the world's largest database of historical records. This center, along with 4600+ other FamilySearch.org centers, are found throughout the world. Our services are offered at no cost and with knowledgeable volunteer family history consultants who have a love for genealogy and are eager to help connect your generations.
FamilySearch.org was historically known as the Genealogical Society of Utah, which was founded in 1894, and is dedicated to preserving historical records for genealogy research. Their purpose is simple—help people connect with their ancestors through easy access to historical records. If you have never used or access FamilySearch records before, stop by our center and we will help you set up an account and teach you how to use the website. With advances in technology, there is so much information readily available that it can seem a little overwhelming but rest assured, you don't need to do family history alone. Our consultants are more than happy to help. That is why your story is our story. |
